Share Tutorial Safe Mode, BlackBerry

Safe Mode adalah posisi Blackberry menyala tanpa menjalankan aplikasi dan theme 3rd party (aplikasi dan tema buatan pihak ke 3) yang telah diinstall.
Dalam artian, Blackberry memblokir akses atas semua aplikasi 3rd party yg ada di dalam hanheld kamu.
Tujuan dari Safe Mode ini sendiri agar Blackberry tetap beroperasi setelah mengalami error / hang bahkan mati dengan tiba-tiba yg disebabkan oleh aplikasi yg bermasalah.
Dalam posisi ini, kamu dapat menghapus semua aplikasi yg kamu curigai menjadi penyebab BB error / hang.

1. Tanda Blackberry Error, biasanya layar BB kamu putih blank disertai keterangan kode dan dimintai Reset.

Contoh yg sering terjadi:

Layar tiba-tiba putih.

Error 602

Reset

Dalam contoh kasus seperti ini, segera lakukan Reset (jangan mencabut baterai).

Tekan dan tahan tombol "Escape" (tanda panah melengkung, letaknya berada di samping tombol "OFF / tombol merah".

2. Tunggu sampai BB kamu Booting.

3. Saat lampu LED berwarna merah muncul, segera pencet tombol Escape. Tahan jangan dilepaskan sampai menyals ke layar standby.

4. Di layar depan akan muncul pop-up alert:

"Your device is currently in Safe Mode. Your device starts in Safe Mode if you hold the Escape key during startup. To remain in Safe Mode, click OK. To exit Safe Mode, click Reset."

Disertai tiga tombol pilihan:

1. Ok

2. Reset

3. Help

Pilih "OK" untuk melanjutkan.

5. Segera lakukan penghapusan (Delete) aplikasi maupun theme yg kamu curigai sebagai penyebab BB kamu Error.

Masuk ke:

Options -> Device -> Application Management

Hapus aplikasi / theme yg bermasalah tersebut.

6. Setelah selesai, matikan BB dan cabut baterai.

7. Pasang baterai, nyalakan kembali BB kamu seperti biasa.

Tutorial ini saya bagikan lantaran banyak pengguna BlackBerry yg tidak mengetahui manfaat fungsi Safe Mode ini dan cara mengatasi aplikasi yg menyebabkan BB crash.

Ada beberapa hal yg menyebabkan Blackberry error.

- Aplikasi dan theme yg rusak.

- Aplikasi dan theme yg tidak cocok dengan OS Blackberry kamu.

- Aplikasi RIM seperti BlackBerry Messenger yg tidak sesuai dengan type BB dan OS kamu. Dan lain sebagainya..

TIPS:

Berhati-hati lah dalam memilih aplikasi dan theme untuk BlackBerry.

Sesuaikan dengan versi OS, dan resolusi ukuran layar.

Pakailah aplikasi yg dapat dipercaya, dan yg kamu butuhkan.

WhatsApp Messenger

WhatsApp applikasi ini dibangun dengan konsep mengadopsi cara kerja BBM, tetapi dengan fleksibilitas ke banyak OS. Aplikasi chatting yang memungkinkan pengguna mengirim pesan serta file gambar, suara, dan video itu bisa dipakai lintas platform dan tidak ribet menggunakannya. Sebenarnya ada empat applikasi lain yang mengadopsi sistem tersebut, yaitu : Cnectd, Pingchat, pMessenger, dan Live Profile. Integrasi ke sistem, sistem PIN, stabilitas, Interface, fitur dan proses pengembangan, menjadikan WhatsApp yang terbaik untuk kelas ini.

Untuk terhubung dengan teman lewat Whatsapp Messenger, tak perlu minta PIN dan menunggu di-approve. Yang perlu dilakukan hanyalah meminta nomor telepon saja. Kalau nomor telepon sudah ada di phonebook, maka otomatis orang itu menjadi teman kita. Jadi enggak perlu repot lagi.

Fitur WhatsApp

1. Not Text Only
Chat sekaligus kirim Gambar, Video, Suara, dan Lokasi GPS.

2. Terintegrasi ke dalam sistem
Tidak perlu buka applikasi untuk memulai / membaca chatting. WhatsApp otomatis ON pada gadget anda, dan notifikasinya langsung terintegrasi ke sistem

Ada empat icon yang muncul dan menjelaskan status pesan.
- Jam Merah untuk Proses loading di HP kita
- Tanda Centang jika pesan terkirim ke jaringan
- Tanda centang double jika pesan sudah terkirim ke teman chat.
- Silang merah jika pesan gagal

Juga terdapat status teman kita sedang Online, atauOffline. Serta status ketika rekan sedang mengetik dan fitur emoticon yang menarik.

4. Broadcast dan Group Chat
Broadcast untuk kirim pesan ke banyak pengguna. Group chat untuk mengirim pesan ke anggota sesama komunitas.

5. Hemat Bandwidth
Karena terintegrasi dengan sistem, maka tidak perlu login dan loading contact/avatar, sehingga transaksi data makin irit.

Install
1. Buka Browser bawaan, buka : http://www.whatsapp.com/appworld/
2. Download dan Install
3. Untuk konfigurasi pastikan agan punya koneksi ke internet, baik itu BIS/GPRS/WIFI

Konfigurasi
1. Masukkan kode negara. Indonesia kodenya (+62) --> +62 adalah pengganti angka 0
2. Masukkan nomor sisanya ( misal : 812 5011 4164)
3. Tunggu verifikasi dan notifikasi dari whatsapp.
6. Selesai. Done !

Cara Register Blackberry Beta Zone (Update)

1. Buka situs web proxy -> http://webproxy.tw/ , sebaiknya melalui Pc atau Laptop.

2. Select a Proxy Servers, pilih salah satu server dari 10 server yg tersedia.

3. Masukkan URL https://www.blackberry.com/beta/applies/ lalu klik "Surf Now!"

4. Setelah masuk ke halaman form registrasi, isi data-data yg diminta. Negara, Pilih USA / UK / Canada (Indonesia tidak tersedia), sisanya kamu karang saja, kecuali data yg penting seperti E-Mail, PIN, Type BB harap di isi dengan benar. :D

5. Password, kombinasikan dengan huruf kapital, huruf kecil, angka dan symbol. (Contoh: P4Ssword_9ue)

6. Setelah berhasil register, silahkan cek email inbox kamu. Klik alamat notifikasi pendaftaran yg dikirim ke E-Mail yg kamu daftarkan.

7. Selanjutnya, kamu login ke Beta zone lewat browser BB. Cari bagian Eligible Program dan ikuti program apa yg kamu inginkan.

Cross Platform Mobile IM Client LiveProfile For BlackBerry

Over the weekend cross platform mobile IM client LiveProfile was released for the BlackBerry. LiveProfile for BlackBerry is an application similar to BlackBerry Messenger in that it shows you when your messages have been delivered, read, and even when contacts are typing a message back to you. The really cool thing, is that it is cross platform meaning that you can chat with contacts that use devices other than BlackBerry, currently Android and iOS.

LiveProfile for BlackBerry is currently in beta, and, has already received one update, since being released just last Friday. Live Profile had to do an emergency upgrade of their servers because of the ridiculous number of downloads that Live Profile is receiving… Over 277,000 in a single day and Live Profile is now the number 4 free download in the social networking category in the Apple App Store. I suspect you will see similar results BlackBerry App World once the LiveProfile for BlackBerry is hosted there.

If you really like BlackBerry Messenger, but, have friends that you can’t BBM with because the have an Android device or an iPhone, I suggest you take a look at Live Profile for BlackBerry.
